I don’t just cut video; I tell stories. Hey there, I’m Haley Houston, a video editor and videographer with five years of professional experience and a specialized background in high-impact financial media and cinematic real estate content. My approach combines the precision of a technical editor with the instincts of a storyteller to ensure every frame serves the viewer and the brand.

I served as a video editor at Ramsey Solutions, where I was a driving force behind the growth of the George Kamel YouTube channel. During my time there, we scaled the channel from around 100,000 subscribers to over 500,000 by prioritizing pacing, innovative hook strategies, and high-retention editing.

I’ve had the privilege of editing interviews with some of the most influential names in media, including Donald Trump, Ben Shapiro, Arthur Brooks, and Caleb Hammer. Not only was I trusted to maintain the narrative integrity of these high-stakes interviews, but I also standardized the “Coming Soon” highlight reels that have become a benchmark for retention on long-form interviews within the department.

While I am an expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and the use of MOGRTs to visually represent complex financial data, I am just as comfortable on a production set. My experience as a videographer and licensed Part 107 Drone Pilot means I understand the full production lifecycle–from lighting and mirrorless camera operation to final color grading and audio mixing.

Before I was an editor, I spent several years in the culinary industry. While these two careers may seem like polar opposites, I believe my experience in the restaurant industry taught me that “good enough” isn’t an option. I bring that same level of culinary precision and discipline to every project I work on. Whether it’s a 60-minute deep dive or a 60-second viral short, I focus on quality, timeliness, and a standard of excellence that always values storytelling first.
